The Staffordshire And Worcestershire Canal Celebrates its 250th Birthday

This year is a significant anniversary for the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal, which was opened in 1772, 250 years ago.

In order to celebrate the canal’s historic milestone, the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal Society is planning to hold a ‘250th Birthday Celebration Rally’ over the August Bank Holiday weekend (August 27th – 28th.)

Boat Entry forms are available here or from the Society’s Harbour Master Mr S. Bingham, either by phone 07964151552 or by E.Mail:- ste.bingham1954@gmail.com
The Entry Fee is £15, which will include a souvenir Rally Plaque celebrating this notable event in the history of our waterways.
